Compensation Plan

There is quite a bit more to the compensation plan that what I provide on this page. Right now, your focus is on your first 15 days as a consultant, so this page is simply an introduction to how you get paid. If you're ready for more information on this topic, there are additional pages that will help you understand how you are paid as you advance through the different titles.

Understanding the compensation plan will take time. It can be overwhelming for some initially, but the more you are exposed to it, the easier it will be to comprehend!

Let's break down some verbiage

Active vs Inactive

An active consultant is described in the image to the left. An inactive consultant is anyone who does not meet the requirements mentioned.

Now, an inactive consultant can reinstate under their last sponsor after being inactive for a 3 month period. If the consultant is wanting to reinstate under a new sponsor, they would have to be inactive for a minimum of 6 months.

Rank vs Title

Rank is used to determine how a consultant is paid each month. A consultant's rank can fall lower than their title on the compensation plan if they do not meet the requirements to be paid at their title.

A consultant's title is the highest rank they have achieved. Titles are progressively earned, but Lead consultant and above can lose their current title if they do not meet the minimum requirements for 4 consecutive months.

  • Every consultant begins their Scentsy journey with the title of Escential consultant until they sell 1,000 PRV.

  • The 1,000 PRV does not have to be sold in any specific timeframe.

  • When an Escential Consultant promotes to the next title of Certified Consultant, they will be compensated as a Certified Consultant for all of their sales during the month in which they were promoted. For example, let's say Sally joined Scentsy on February 1st. During that first month, she sold 550 PRV, but in March she sold an additional 500 PRV and was promoted to Certified Consultant. For March, Sally will be paid as a Certified Consultant for all of her sales for the entire month.

Once a consultant reaches the title of Certified, they will ALWAYS be paid 25% commission on their sales. Additional bonuses are available, and will be discussed later!
